So, for a while now there has been something itching me when it comes to the Parallel book cover and title. I don’t, or didn’t, think it portrayed the right feel pertaining to what the book was all about. It seemed too ‘sci-fi’ which it’s not. Above all, it’s another love story just like the Feather Book Series…

A story of timeless love, fate, and the idea that love is often a path that crosses time and time again, never revealing itself until the moment is right. I came up with the idea for Parallel from my own life. I always used to look forward to the future, or dwell in the past. Never did I understand what it meant to live in the moment, and I missed a lot because of it and I wish now that I could start over.
This is the idea behind this book. A time travel love story where main characters Jordan and Kenzie find their lives helplessly intertwined. Though clearly in love, they hide the secrets of their feelings for each other. Jordan, a Shifter, meaning he can shift through time within the boundaries of his life, tries to help Kenzie by changing her fate for the better, though, that may not be the right thing in the end. He remains a silent part of her life until the day everything goes horribly wrong, and he has to save her for real.
When Kenzie meets Jordan for the first time, she instantly finds some resemblance between him and the man in her nightmares. Just because Jordan had changed Kenzie’s life, does not mean she stopped dreaming about the life she should have lived. She hides that fact of these dreams from everyone, but as the two begin to form a relationship, she begins to suspect that Jordan is more than what he leads on, and his secrets are no longer something he can hide…
